Don’t you think that this is so true?
We always want the right employee, the right spouse, co-workers, etc.
One of the hardest but most rewarding things one can do is to look at oneself and see “What can I do to make things better?”
Not ‘what can I do to change the other’, but simply, ‘what can I do?’ This is where we all need the most work!
It’s actually the same with trying to find the right business or business model.
And yes, it is amazing that an enormous amount of people believe that someone like the founder of Red Bull or Jeff Bezos have been at the right time and place.
Basically, they have been lucky is the word of the same people who are looking for the right person or the right business opportunity.
Why don’t those people ever think of creating a business opportunity just for them?
And it’s not that one has to actually really create something totally new.
Especially in today’s digital economy literally everyone can create a business which runs on the back of other technologies – by that I mean, take advantage of already existing infrastructures.
No need to re-invent the wheel, just spin it a little bit.
For instance, sales people and marketing people have always been the very best paid professions on this planet.
After all, the big super successful CEO’s have one thing in common and that is that they are excellent sales and marketing people.
Life is one big negotiation from asking for a candy when you were small or getting into a collage, asking a girl out, getting a job, getting seed money for an idea of yours to convincing a small or large crew to perform the work you want them to do.
I personally made a good living for 30 years from dentists and doctors because they need new patients to earn more money to live a better life.
There is no company in the world, which does not need more product or service sales on the internet – the digital economy has made it possible for everyone to get into it.
The harsh aspect and brutal confrontation the old-time sales people had to endure is gone with selling on the internet.
I am not saying it is for everyone, but you might want to check it out and see.
Maybe, only maybe it gives you the same no time-bound, no location-bound and no single product or service-bound lifestyle.
Some people call it the “Laptop Millionaire”.
You can skip this and call it self-serving and you would be right.
But as being said, working with dentists for over 30 years, I have noticed that their patients think the same about treatment plans suggested to them.
They say the doctor has a vested interest.
Hmm, of course he does – just like I have a vested interest in telling you that there is a new world with new and super exciting opportunities out there, which never yet existed, and I can help you participating in it and creating a life style of freedom from time and money you so far only dreamed of and probably have even forgotten to dream of.
